Event Marketing Specialist

Are you a multimedia powerhouse who can turn an event into an inspiring, shareable story? My Mountain Mover is looking for a driven Events & Engagement Coordinator to amplify our mission and our community spirit! This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will conceptualize and execute digital campaigns, produce captivating multimedia content, and lead the media direction for all our internal and community initiatives (like Movers Connect, Summits, and Greater Heights Foundation (GHF) activities). We're seeking a creative visionary and a hands-on executor who thrives on generating engagement, pride, and purpose across our platforms!

Job Overview & Your Mission

The Events & Engagement Coordinator is the creative force behind our event promotions and content ecosystem. You will be responsible for creating promotional campaigns, producing multi-media content materials like visuals and videos, leading the media team during events, and managing the social media presence for our events and GHF initiatives.

  • Reports to: Director of Events & Engagement
  • Schedule: 8 AM–5 PM M–F (Flexible for in-person events)
  • Main Tools: GSuite, Canva, Salesforce, Adobe Photoshop, Video editing tools, Meta Business Suite, and TikTok Creative Studio.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Campaign Development & Event Promotions

  • Conceptualize and execute digital and on-ground promotional campaigns for all MMM events (in-person and online).
  • Design and roll out essential promotional materials: email campaigns, registration/invitation posters, teasers, newsletters, creatives, print materials, and more.
  • Ensure all promotional assets align with company branding and engagement goals.

Multimedia Production (Graphics, Videos, Creatives)

  • Design engaging event materials, including graphics, posters, event websites, motion graphics, slides, AVPs, and short-form videos.
  • Produce and edit high-quality promotional and recap videos for MMM events and GHF initiatives.

Event Coverage & Content Direction

  • Capture and direct all event photo and video coverage, leading on-site content documentation.
  • Manage real-time posting and live updates for our platforms, including shot lists, highlight reels, and interviews.

Media Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Direct and coordinate the media team during event and campaign periods.
  • Ensure smooth workflows, timely delivery of creative materials, and quality output.

Social Media Management (Movers Basecamp FB Group)

  • Manage group activities, maintain group hygiene, and approve/verify joining members.
  • Increase engagement through posts, comments, and proper scheduling following the content calendar.
  • Assist with online live updates.

What We're Looking For: Qualifications

We are seeking a versatile creative professional with a strategic mindset and a collaborative spirit.

Top 5 Non-Negotiables:

  • Creative Mastery: Strong proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) or equivalent tools.
  • Event Media Experience: Skilled in directing, shooting, and editing content during live events.
  • Social Media Expertise (for Brand Advocacy): Proven experience managing advocacy or CSR-related social accounts with engaging content strategies.
  • Creative Visionary and a Hands-on Executor: Someone who transforms ideas into captivating campaigns and captures moments that inspire engagement, pride, and purpose.
  • Time Management and Adaptability: Thrives under pressure, meets tight deadlines, and can balance multiple creative projects simultaneously.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years' experience in multimedia production, digital marketing, or event media.
  • Strong creative portfolio demonstrating graphic design and video editing skills.
  • Excellent command of English (verbal and written).
  • Familiarity with social media trends, analytics, and community management.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, during event execution.
